With the well trained technical staff and full access to state-of-the-art facilities, such as 300 MHz NMR, LC-MS, IR, Chiral & RP HPLC, High Pressure Hydrogenator ,96 well peptide synthesizer, 106 well peptide synthesizer and Microwave Peptide Synthesizer GLS possesses the powerful research and development capability for new products, and assurance of product quality.
GL Biochem has a state-of-the art 35,000 sq.meter size manufacturing facility for the production of peptide reagents and peptide. The facility has various kinds of reactors with an annual capacity of 100MT for peptide reagents, 120kg for cGMP peptides Moreover, we have also equipped our plant with a lot of sophisticated equipment which include more than 100 units of preparative HPLC system and analytical HPLC system.
At the moment, the company has nearly 1000 staff, total of 350 plus chemists directly involved in peptide synthesis, with additional 150 plus technicians in HPLC purification. In addition to having well established, manual synthesis techniques, GL Biochem also invests in units of Automated Multiple Peptide Synthesizers to support customers in peptidomimetics studies and drug discovery for milligram scale of a large number of related peptides and peptidomimetics. The company probably possesses the biggest capacity with state-of-the art facilities in custom peptides in the world.
In view of our business continuity requirement, GL Biochem had acquired a full-fledged antibody manufacturing company in early 2008 and becoming the only few companies in China with such manufacturing capability and capacity to support on our expansion.
